The Senior Lounge will open in 2026 as part of the Berkeley Flea Market’s community expansion — a peaceful and welcoming space designed especially for our senior citizens to relax, socialize, and enjoy the market in comfort.
This special area will feature cozy seating, light refreshments, games, and wellness activities — all provided by Community Services United (CSU) to show appreciation for the elders who have built and supported our community for generations.
What the Senior Lounge Offers
💛 Comfortable Seating & Shade: A quiet area to rest and enjoy refreshments during market hours.
🎵 Live Music & Cultural Vibes: Soft music, storytelling, and special senior appreciation events.
☕ Tea, Coffee & Snacks: Complimentary light snacks and beverages provided by CSU and local sponsors.
🩺 Health & Wellness Resources: Information tables, blood pressure checks, and senior resource partners.
👥 Community Connection: A safe, friendly space to meet new people and reconnect with old friends.
